    The Kurow Winery of Pasquale is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art production facility at the heart of the awe-inspiring, rugged mountains of the Waitaki and Hakataramea Valleys. Situated beside the mighty blue, braided Waitaki River, the welcoming winery and its Cellar Door are symbols of the progress brought by viticulture to this pioneering landscape. Pasquale has planted, raised, and picks by hand, the plump, ripe grapes from 100,000 vines on the limestone terraces and hillsides.

    The best way to prove the origin of a wine is to fingerprint it. Oritain is an independent food provenancing company that samples the rain, the soil and the plants that grow on it.

    Oritain has worked with Pasquale Viticultura since 2008, gathering and analysing samples. They have identified the signal of Pasquale Viticultura and Kurow Estate wines.
    You can believe in our wines because Oritain has fingerprinted each one. This technique ensures that the wine is attributed to the region claimed and is not contaminated by grapes harvested in other areas.
